Earlier this month, we were honored to be featured on News Channel 8, where I spoke about the work I’ve done over the years to make sure social equity was baked into Connecticut’s cannabis laws.
This was never about me alone—it’s about righting historical wrongs, clearing records, and opening doors.
What made this feature even more special was seeing our Lit team member, Kai, bravely share how having his cannabis conviction expunged has transformed his life. He’s living proof that equity isn’t just a buzzword—it’s a breakthrough. We’re proud of you, Kai. 💪🏾
